Tumor tissue refers to abnormal cells that grow and form a mass or lump, known as a tumor. These cells are not normal and do not function like healthy body cells. Tumors can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous), with the latter being more dangerous and requiring treatment to prevent spreading to other parts of the body.
